Matt Gallagher is a Portfolio CRO within the Portfolio Growth team at Hg, bringing with him 12 years of experience in sales and marketing excellence, with a focus on software and SaaS. He has helped create several Hg best practices including our sales training offering, CaPDB targeting, and sales team sizing tool.

Matt combines experience in private equity operations at Vista Equity and Riverside with several stints as Chief Revenue Officer. While at Vista, Matt helped create several sales and marketing best practices that are still in use today.
He believes in combining data-driven analysis with scalable skill-building in order to improve bookings volume and efficiency.

Matt has an MBA from The Wharton School with a concentration in finance.
