Jason has more than twenty five years of leadership and experience in establishing successful Global Information Technology organisations within large Global Enterprises and Mid-sized Global Corporations.
In particular, he has held ‘C’ Level Executive level positions within a series of Private Equity owned software companies and has been a key contributor in their transformation and resulting business success. He is very familiar with protecting and enhancing the value of acquisitions, the art of divestitures and has additionally been through the lifecycle of a very successful IPO.

Amr joined Hg from the Boston Consulting Group where he worked in the Gamma Advanced Analytics & Data Science team. During his time at BCG, Amr worked on analytics projects for clients across Europe in financial services, retail and industrial goods sectors. Prior to this he worked on retail and services projects in the OC&C Analytics team. Amr started his career as a Lead Data Scientist at VisualDNA (acquired by Nielsen).
Amr is from Egypt. He holds an MEng in Engineering Science and a DPhil in Computer Vision and Machine Learning from Magdalen College, University of Oxford.

Tim joined Hg from Oliver Wyman Labs where he worked on a range of analytics, coding and Data Science projects primarily in Finance and Credit Risk. He also previously worked at Applied Predicted Technologies (APT), a SaaS company providing software for large consumer facing businesses for systematic initiative testing and analytics, which was acquired by Mastercard.
Tim grew up in London and completed his BA and MSci in Physics at the University of Cambridge. He relocated with the research group he worked with during his masters at Cambridge, to complete his PhD in Experimental Quantum Physics at the University of Bonn, Germany.

John is a specialist in the Portfolio Tech Team. Prior to joining Hg he spent four years leading cyber security functions at both HS2 and the Go-Ahead Group.
John gained a BSc in Physics and Astrophysics from the University of Birmingham, moving into cybersecurity directly after his studies. He has extensive audit and advisory experience and has helped design and implement payment systems for major retailers and processors.

Josh is a Cybersecurity Specialist with the Portfolio Tech Team. He joined HG after four years working in cyber transactions and deal strategy for EY-Parthenon.
Prior to private industry, Josh served as a detective for the City of London Police, specialising in Cybercrime, complex money laundering and covert investigations.

David is Head of Research at Hg, leveraging over two decades of technology sector experience to provide broad market context to Hg’s deep cluster knowledge, researching how market trends and data impact new investment opportunities, existing portfolio companies, and potential exits.
David joined in 2018, after nearly twenty years in the public markets. Prior to Hg, he was Director of Technology Research at Numis, following the full size range of UK-listed public Software/IT services companies where he and his team were top-ranked for over a decade by investors and companies in the industry-wide Extel surveys.
David holds an MA in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge.

Chris is a partner at Hg and Head of Value Creation, leading our in-house group dedicated to working directly with management to help shape and support their ambitions in creating value.
The team provides experts, Hg’s proprietary operational IP, and project execution support to drive impact across the most critical business levers: Growth & Pricing, Data & AI, Technology, Cyber, Product Strategy, Talent Search and everything in between.
Chris has over 15 years of experience architecting and driving value creation. Prior to joining Hg in 2014, Chris was part of Boston Consulting Group’s Technology and Digital practices, working with FTSE100 institutions as well as high-growth private-equity backed businesses. Chris started his career in macroeconomic modelling.
Chris is a British and German national and holds an honours degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Oxford.

Lloyd is a member of the Portfolio Team, specialising in data & analytics. He supports Hg’s North American portfolio on data value creation initiatives, covering AI, data monetisation, infrastructure, and business intelligence.
He joined Hg in 2020 from data consultancy JMAN Group, where he spent five years working at the intersection of analytics, commercial strategy, and operational change.

Alan has well over a decade of senior leadership experience and in the design and delivery of large-scale high impact transformation programmes and value creation. Prior to joining HG Alan held leadership roles at Capita, John Menzies, and most recently at Allocate Software / RLDatix as Global Services and Strategic Programmes Director.

Calum is a Cybersecurity Specialist and sits in the Portfolio Tech Team. He joined Hg after three years working in cyber operations for JP Morgan, where he specialised in public cloud technologies as well as detecting, mitigating, and responding to cyber-attacks.
He transitioned into cybersecurity when he was selected as one of 55 successful candidates (from thousands of applicants) to join the SANS Cyber Retraining Academy, which had a syllabus created by GCHQ in conjunction with experts from the SANS Institute. Prior to this, Calum worked in engineering and architecture roles for both on-prem and cloud hosted infrastructure in the energy and technology sectors.
Calum is from Scotland and holds a BEng degree in electronic and electrical engineering from the University of Strathclyde, as well as industry qualifications from Microsoft, Cisco and GIAC.

Stuart is a skilled practitioner at developing and deploying effective engineering operational processes, controls, governance and working practices (such as agile, continuous integration delivery methods) as a means to accelerate the realisation of value.

Elizabeth is a Transformation Lead in the Value Creation team.

Elizabeth’s professional passion is helping software companies level up their business operations capabilities, enabling them to grow and scale to their full potential. She does this through education, strategic planning, and leading the execution of enterprise transformations. She believes the most successful transformations are those focused on sound business processes, organized and accessible data, optimized and integrated business systems, and engaged portfolio-company leadership and empowered team members.

Elizabeth has developed her expertise in delivering transformations over the course of her 25-year career working as both an operator and a consultant.

She holds degrees from The University of Western Ontario and Wilfrid Laurier University.

Paul focuses on developing the North American Operating Partner Program, Chairing portfolio companies, and partnering globally with Hg’s portfolio Technology and Product teams.

Paul joined Hg in 2023 to lead and develop the North American Operating Partner Program and to Chair companies in the Saturn and Genesis funds. He spent more than a decade as an Operating Partner, founder and Head of Thoma Bravo’s Technology Group. Prior to that, Paul spent 20 years founding and scaling four global technology companies, primarily in Silicon Valley.
